Naheed is still wondering about all the attention being paid to the West LRT when the NE LRT design is even worse.

NEs LRT. Where are the plans for the NE LRT connection with airport? This is an absolute no brainer.Practically every major city in the world provides public transport to it's airport and yet this obvious need does not seem to be thought about. The airport is planning second runway and those plans must integrate with the LRT. Fortunetly the orientation of Calgary's LRT makes the connection easy. No real obstacles. With annual airline traffic in the millions one wonders if someone is asleep at the switch or is there some political reason this is being ignored
