I guess my issue with labels is that they over simplify the issuess. What label does someone get if the are fiscally conservative and still socialy progressive? Our current spectrum of left and right doesn't allow for people to develop meaningful solutions for todays complex problems. Can the answer to every issue be don't spend or legailize it? Saying yes to everything or no to everything just to maintain your label would be silly. Left and right platforms matter less than open mindedness and well thought out bi-partisan solutions.
